Prima means first. It is this spirit behind our starter band. It started on Zoom during Lockdown to encourage and support brand new players start an instrument as a new hobby. Once players could meet in person it came together and now boasts around 15 members.

As well as learning the technical aspects of a musical instrument, playing in a group teaches a player to play in tune, to concentrate on timing and to blend with the other players. It is also a great way to meet other budding musicians.

​

We welcome anyone who has just taken up an instrument and may only play a few notes to come and try our welcoming group to extend their playing.

Rehearsals are from 7pm on a Monday evening, at the Bramley St Peters Church, Hough Ln, Bramley, Leeds LS13 3NF
